A Little Prep Goes a Long Way
A vehicle wrap is only as good as the surface it’s applied to. Here’s how to prepare your vehicle before your installation appointment for the best possible result.
1. Wash It Thoroughly
Vinyl needs a clean, dirt-free surface to properly adhere. A standard wash isn’t always enough — we recommend a wash within 24-48 hours of your appointment, avoiding wax or polish products.
2. Address Existing Damage
Dents, deep scratches, or rust spots can show through a wrap or affect how well the vinyl adheres. Let us know about any damage ahead of time so we can advise on prep work.
3. Empty the Vehicle
For full wraps in particular, having a clear, accessible vehicle helps our team work efficiently and access every panel.
4. Plan for Install Time
Depending on the scope, installation can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. We’ll give you a clear timeline during your consultation so you can plan accordingly.
5. Trust the Process
